Lindos
is 52 kilometers south of Rhodos on the east coast. Nestled around several bays
and coves with an acropolis that overlooks it from a nearby hill, it is one
of the most charming villages in Greece. While there are a few hotels outside
the village, none have been allowed to be built within the village itself. Residents
rent their villas during the summer and run roof-top restaurants, souvlaki shops,
bars and tourist shops.
Lindos
Beach has white sand and warm clear water. From the water, you'll have a fine
view of the village and the acropolis. There are several water-side tavernas
where visitors have seen many a day blissfully slip away.
