Kamari (below) is the most popular beach on Santorini. It has a great boardwalk of hotels, cafes, bars and restaurants, but the beach consists of pebble rocks. We suggest that after a few days in Santorini, you head for better beaches in nearby Mykonos, Paros or Naxos.

Santorini is more about scenery and charm then beaches. Ia has a bit of a beach but you have to be either an Olympic athlete or a mountain goat to get there. (above)
